This afternoon PCSO's Colin & Debby of Blackpool Neighbourhood Policing team, held an event on Lawsons Field.

Blackpool & Fylde Police Cadets assisted and security coded 18 bikes in the time we were there.

You may remember that we asked for your help locating Callum Holmes, who was wanted.

To update you, Holmes was arrested by our colleagues at Cumbria Police yesterday.

He is currently in custody in Lancashire.

Thank you to all who shared the appeal.

This week PCSO Debby has been at three schools, presenting her drugs talk.

The children are taught about both legal and illegal drugs, just before they go to high school.

The children engage really well and get so much from the presentation.

He has now been found safe and well.

This is just one of the many knife sweeps completed as part of #OPSCEPTRE

We’re currently investigating a report of a rape in the promenade area of Blackpool, between the Blue Water Hotel, and the North Pier. and are asking for information and footage from the area.

A sad update:

On May 5, we received a report of a body in the sea. The body has now been formally identified as missing Richard Parker. His death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be passed to the coroner.

Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

Little Angels Nursery (MI Child)
PCSO Debby attended Little Angels nursery today.
She spoke to a small group of both nursery and pre-school children.
The children had so much fun, as you can see by their little faces.

This past few days PCSO Debby has presented her drugs talk at Hawes Side Academy to their year 6 pupils.

The pupils also learnt about County Lines (where illegal drugs are transported from one area to another) and the dangers of carrying a knife.

Yesterday PCSO Debby was at West Park Kindergarten speaking to their children about 'people we trust'.

The children really enjoyed the visit and trying on the police dressing up kit.

Debby felt so happy after receiving a thank you card.
