my neurologist saying โ€œyouโ€™re wearing a mask, afraid weโ€™ll give you something terrible?โ€ while i was literally in there for a chemotherapy checkup was a sight to behold

This guy is obviously goofy in so many ways but it's interesting to see him measuring 19 years of lung aging after a covid infection with 3 days of mild symptoms.

Is he going to start masking? Of course not!

If I told you our state-of-the-science review paper on masks (with 400 references) is soon to be published by a leading US journal, what would your reaction be? Emojis and gifs only.

Unfortunately the demonstrably false dominant narrative of immunity debt is still the explanation this suffering mother turns to, to explain why her child is constantly sick.

Actually it's mostly adding a new serious disease that is a leading cause of ID death among children.

'When I went back to work, motherhood became a discouraging puzzle of sick days and child care'

What's happening is not normal.

Daycare is not a safe place with a hyperendemic vasculitic SARS virus circulating.

This is also a women's rights issue.

Nature now charges $12,290 US to publish a single article open access. Shall we list some things that cost less than that? I'll go first: a 2017 BMW 330i sedan, a 7-day cruise for a family of four, six Louis Vuitton purses. ๐Ÿคช

Just a note that the consequences of the โ€œimmunity debtโ€ lie that ignores Covid mediated immune exhaustion / dysfunction are very real.

A grief support group I frequent just had a post by parents who lost their beautiful, otherwise thriving 6 month old baby to RSV.

My grandmother, Margaret โ€œPeggyโ€ Anderson Gordon, left us this morning during the eclipse at 11:06am. She died of Covid19, which she contracted from the emergency room. She went to the ER after a fall, and there were no mask mandates in the hospital to protect her.

If we had cleaned the air, we wouldn't be in this mess.

People could have the brunch lifestyle without risk.

But we chose to have dirty air and pretend there's no risk.

It makes no sense.

I really wonder how cultural concepts of intelligence (and what entails a good education) will evolve as AI continue to march forward incessantly, taking over thinking and tasks humans used to do.

It boils my blood that during an ongoing pandemic, and with soaring student sickness levels in schools, we have school leaders arguing that kids are throwing sickies, opting for โ€œduvet daysโ€, just not being resilient enough, and (worst of all) to blame for being โ€œunhealthyโ€

Incredible stuff โ€” so much gratitude to
Lisa McCorkell & Michael Peluso, MD for inspiring the community around this last fall โ€” and to Bernie Sanders for once again proving to have unparalleled moral clarity, courage & vision that leads this country forward.
