We can now confirm that the Board of Deputies, joined by the Jewish Leadership Council and CST, will meet Sir Mark Rowley, Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, later this week, to discuss this serious issue.

Our Director of Public Affairs Daniel Sugarman spoke to BBC News about the inclusion of a fabricated quote attributed to Mayer Amschel Rothschild in the former Prime Minster's book. Both the publisher Biteback Publishing and Liz Truss's team have agreed to remove it in future editions.

We have heard from Liz Truss’s team. They have made it clear that she believed the quote attributed to Mayer Amschel Rothschild to be genuine and was horrified to learn its true origin. She entirely agrees that the quote from the ebook and any future print editions be removed.

We have written to Biteback publishing regarding a fabricated quote, attributed to Mayer Amschel Rothschild, being used in 'Ten Years to Save the West'. They have apologised and have promised it will be removed for the e-book & any future print editions.
