Please don’t assume that autistic people should “overcome our autism.” It’s incredibly offensive and ableist, not to mention impossible.

Rather than making it political all the time let's make it accessible and build bridges, acknowledge one's differences and work from there. It starts with the grass roots and going to communities.

All 'autisms/autism fruit salads' have different ingredients - for some it's social emotional agnosia, for others it's dyspraxia, the next faceblindness and the other aphasia. See people as such and healthily acknowledge their humanity.

my 'autism isn't the autism' and healthy discourse, agreement and disagreement can be shared without shouting and/or being reactive. Even if one internally doesn't know or experience that reality it still exists.
