What a day in Wasaga Beach!! I joined Stephen Lecce, Minister of Education, to announce the province will be putting up $57.7 million for a new kindergarten to Grade 12 Catholic school in this community.
The new school will include 1,008 student spaces!

They defended their Buckland Cup title after beating Trenton 3-2 to win the championship series 4-2. The Blues will now represent Ontario at the upcoming Centennial Cup in Oakville next month. Follow along right here.

World Champions! Congratulations to Skip Susan Froud and her rink from Alliston. They beat Lithuania 7-3 in the final to win the World Senior Curling Championships in Sweden. The team finished with a perfect 8-0 record! Congratulations again on an outstanding win!

The Cal Patterson Memorial Hockey Tournament is underway at Central Park Arena in Collingwood.
This is the third year girls and women have competed to raise funds for The Living Wish Foundation. During that time, 100 wishes have been 'granted.'
