Our OC 617 Squadron F-35B jets are now exercising in the Arctic skies over Norway, launching from HMS Prince of Wales on the coast to simulate defending the territory of our allies inland.

Our Carrier Strike Group is now at the heart of the maritime phase of #SteadfastDefender24 , the largest NATO exercise for decades.

Centered around HMS Prince of Wales & international by design, with 5 allied countries contributing to provide deterrence and defence wherever we are needed.

On Leap Day 2020 Bristol visited ⁦HMS Prince of Wales⁩ alongside in Liverpool. Affiliates from Bristol and Liverpool were present.We are mindful HMS PWLS is leading a Battle Group for NATO at this time. ⁦⁦Lord-Lt of Bristol⁩ ⁦Brigadier Jock Fraser Royal Marines⁩ ⁦Bristol Lord Mayor⁩
