An engaging Discovery Session this morning, exploring the Aldeburgh Festival's evolution into a world-class institution deeply-rooted in Suffolk.

Attendees were also treated to an in-depth exploration of The Composer’s Place exhibition and some special items from the Archive.

This afternoon, we were delighted to be joined by Baroness Rosalind Scott and to have formally received our Accredited status for Britten and Pears' archive at The Red House by The National Archives.

The Concert Hall was filled with enchanting French music this evening performed by The Sixteen, including Duruflé’s beautiful and moving Requiem.

We were delighted to experience the culmination of this week's fruitful masterclass workshops for Chamber Futures, part of the Britten Pears Young Artist Programme. It was an uplifting and inspiring occasion. Well done to all involved.

We eagerly anticipate its return next Friday at Aldeburgh Jubilee Hall to present its ‘Ordered Chaos’ programme.

On Saturday, 800 people came together to share the joy of singing with the choral legend John Rutter for Singing Day. It was a special and memorable event.

This afternoon, the Aldeburgh Young Musicians concluded their week-long course led by the wonderful Auntie ain't rich. china moses. with a fantastic performance of music inspired by the expansive lineage of Black American music.
