Our office hosted nearly two dozen students from the CUNY School of Law last week. They observed court proceedings and met with various bureaus to better learn about the work being done at the Bronx District Attorney’s Office.

Last night we held our annual “Tribute to Crime Victims.” We reflected on lives lost, supported victims who are continuing to heal, and raised awareness about the impact of crime in the Bronx. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success.

Bronx DA Darcel Clark joined leaders at Fund for the City of New York’s Innovation Across Silos Conference to discuss the mental health crisis. “Our focus is bridging the gap and making sure that individuals can access the mental services they need.”

The family of murdered teen, Angellyh Yambo, continues to channel their grief into advocacy: they filed a lawsuit against Polymer80, maker of the “ghost gun” fired by the teen who killed her. It is the first lawsuit by individuals against a ghost gun firm brought in NY.
