In preparation for writing instructions about how to care for ourselves, 1T had to look after a jelly baby all day. Look at these super homes and activities they created with Lego.

1T have really enjoyed programming the bee-bots in computing this week. Some of the children could even get it under our bridges!

Introducing.... Cheep, Max, Peter, Daisy, Griffiths, Jimmy, Lei-Lei, Cat and Fluffy the chick's. 2 boys and 7 girl chick's have hatched in Reception this week 🐣 We have loved learning all about their life cycle and how to take care of them 💛

1T has never had so many super spellers and super improvers in one week! Wow super work everyone keep it up 🌟

In English, 3S designed their own community gardens. We then used some talking stems to discuss our gardens with our talking partners! 🪴🌱

There's something egg-citing happening in Reception! Our first chick arrived this afternoon... 🐣 What should we name her?

During our music lesson, 3S listened to a song and had to follow the call-and-response parts using their drums and shakers. We then recapped crochet and quaver beats with our “walk and stop” activity! 🎶

After the appearance of our mysterious seeds, a brand new book turned up for 3S to read this half term in English. It is called “The Extraordinary Gardener.” We looked at the front cover and made some predictions about the story. 🪴🌱

3S made an interesting discovery in their classroom this morning. Some mysterious seeds had been left for us to plant. We wrote some “Found” posters in English to tell everyone about it. We are excited to see what grows! 🌱 🪴

What a super day 3B have had at Manchester Airport. We had a wander around terminal 2 this morning and spent the afternoon in the aerozone, role playing different airport jobs. This trip was linked to our Geography unit - Travel Across the World.

✈️ Today, 3S visited Manchester Airport. We went to the Aerozone, where we role played some of the different airport related jobs. Then we went on a ‘Terminal Trail’ around T2. We saw passengers checking in, departure boards for flights & baggage being checked at security ✈️

3S have been reading Orion and the Dark in English. So we’ve settled down to watch the film with some yummy popcorn! What a lovely way to end our learning! 🍿
