iPhone : Roger Rice The U.S. has followed this timetable for a long time with consistent success. That said, it runs a bit counter to normal swimming tapering. The very best (Ledecky, Manuel, Dressel, King, etc) don’t need to be razor sharp to make the team, so they can point more toward Tokyo.

iPhone : Both meets will still be in Omaha. Fan attendance up to 75 percent still on the table, but they will likely settle on a smaller number than that. They can still put big crowds in that basketball arena even w reduced capacity.

iPhone : Instead of the massive throng in Omaha all at one time, there will be a Wave I meet of slower Trials qualifiers, with the top two finishers advancing to Wave II, where they will be entered with the top 40ish in each event. Wave II will select the Olympic team.
