TRANSIT NOTICE: Any patrons trying to access Transit CB bus stops on Kings Road between Weidner Dr. and Churchill Dr. - inbound to Sydney - please cross over and use the outbound stops (travel to Sydney River) in order to be routed to downtown Sydney.

Electrical hazards are a concern during flooding. Power should be turned off in basements prone to flooding. Ensure sump pumps and discharges are clear for those who use.

Heavy rainfall is expected in parts of the province over the next couple of days and may cause localized flooding. For those with rain gutters, downspouts or storm drains, try and clear them before the rain if possible.

Transit Cape Breton will not operate on Friday, Feb 16. Officials will monitor clearing efforts and reassess for evening operation.
Handi-Trans service will operate, where road conditions allow, on Friday, Feb 16.
