Today, the City of Lynwood hosted a Women's Conference event and invited Century Sheriff Station. It was truly uplifting and inspiring.

Century Sheriff's Station, T.R.A.P and the City of Lynwood joined forces to offer Lynwood residents a free catalytic converter etching event to combat catalytic converter thefts.

Century Station Deputies had the inspiring privilege of finishing the week by participating in 'Read Across America Week' at local schools.

It was an absolute joy for Century Sheriff's Station Deputies to be a part of the 'Read Across America Week' festivities and help local schools promote reading among children.

During a visit by the Los Angeles Chargers football community outreach team, the Barack Obama Charter school students were given books and Chargers gear. The team encouraged students to work together, pay attention to their teachers, and read books.

During the Coffee with the Captain and City Manager event, we had a great time meeting members of the Lynwood community. Thank you to the city manager's office and 7 Leaves Cafe for hosting the event.

Last week, deputies from the Century Station Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) team handed out candy to children at schools in the areas we serve.
