Fishermen have a much bigger beef with FFAW than they do with Govt. The price in the Gulf is much more, & the FFAW gave in. The outside buyers idea is a nice thought but realistically is not the answer to the entire fleet getting more. FFAW serves 3 masters, big problem!

As a PhD who has researched my little face off and filled out more grant applications than I can count, this is horrifying to me... I can't even describe how dangerous this is to academic freedom and the amazing research happening in Alberta.

I watched some of that and you're absolutely right. Nothing said in that exchange resembled any other interview I've heard/seen. Some, it should be said, were on CBC and were really good. They provided context and understood nuance. This intrvu was awful. I turned it off.
