Severe Thunderstorm Warning continues for San Antonio TX, Schertz TX and Universal City TX until 11:15 PM CDT. This storm will contain wind gusts to 70 MPH!

Broken line of storms northwest to southwest of San Antonio. Some of these storms are severe, producing quarter sized hail. These storms will move through the San Antonio metro area now through midnight. In addition, cloud to ground lightning and heavy rainfall are occurring.

A new Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been added south of the previous watch. This watch is in effect through 4 AM. Large Hail and damaging winds will be the main threat.

Here are time windows on when storms are possible across portions of south-central Texas. Storms will be possible any time in these window, some of which could become severe. Remain weather aware this afternoon and tonight and have a way to receive warnings.

More rounds of severe thunderstorms will be possible on Tuesday. Some storms may be ongoing in the morning, with another round possible Tuesday evening. Significant large hail will be the main hazard, although damaging wind gusts or an isolated tornado will also be possible.
