We took in our first group of orphan Virginia Opossums yesterday!

Opossums are some of the only true 'orphans' we get. While many babies may be assumed orphaned, Virginia Opossum joeys are often found on their deceased mother, either in her pouch, on her, or nearby.

This Eastern Mole is feeling much better after being brought in due to a small laceration on their front paw. As you can see, this injury hasn't slowed them down! We're hoping to get this mole released back home in the next few days.
