Repression by the Hun Sen dictatorship continues. Leng OUCH - one of Cambodia's top activists & 2016 The Goldman Environmental Prize recipient - has been detained alongside 3 others since yesterday morning while investigating forest crimes in #PreyLong . The 4 face possible imprisonment.
#Cambodia is addicted to #Plastic , especially single-use, & the nation is drowning in it. We will also soon expose the incompetence of Environment Ministry on this issue, but for now we concentrate on 5 simple habits that can reduce the scale of this growing #plasticpollution crisis.
The government says that #sandmining along the #Mekong is 'needed as it reduces riverbank collapses'๐คช
