Today is the start of an 8 day festival when Jews commemorate the Exodus from their slavery in Egypt.

Today is #StephenLawrenceDay . On this day, Stephen was murdered in a racist attack at the age of 18. We would like to remember the ambitious person that Stephen was, and emphasise the call for justice. Institutions such as the police need to better for minoritised communities.

The best leaders are not at all competitive. They aren’t constantly trying to outdo their peers [even behind their backs], stamp their higher authority on their team or demonstrate their superiority. There is no need. The team & the collective achievement of outcomes is their job
