A few March brown clutched an early season surface . A fish rose - once . The dogs watched as I cast a dry fly in hope more than success. And my lunch time was complete . What a cracking life .

I so wanted to fish this beautiful venue when Pete Cockwill and I were doing our Casting Marathon …. Tempting beyond reason !

Hooray for that ….

Our stats from yesterdays gruelling fund raiser for Fishing for Schools at Syon Fishing .  Marathon distance cast 42.2 Km + 300m extra = 42.5 Km Pretty much bang on 10 hours casting & going on rod average a staggering 1,989 casts. Team work!

Congratulations to Charles and Peter who completed their incredible challenge of fly casting the entire length of a London Marathon in 10 hours! 🎉 They took on the challenge to raise vital funds for TCAF 💙
