Glad to share our study of wildfire smoke and indoor surfaces in ES&T:

We find that PAHs in smoke accumulate on indoor materials and persist for weeks at possible health-relevant levels. Good news - cleaning activities appear effective at removing PAHs.

So excited to receive this grant from the Keck Foundation with Megan Willis and Lauren Garofalo CSU Department of Chemistry ! We will be studying the fate of chemicals indoors using stable isotopes with the aim of developing models!
