April 13 marks the 1st anniv of the China-Laos Railway opening up int’l passenger service. W/ a total of 738 trains operated, entry & exit of 183,000 passengers from 87 countries &regions has been facilitated, mostly from ASEAN. Strong boost to regional connectivity & tourism!

ASEAN remains China's LARGEST trading partner——the 1st quarter witnesses China's foreign trade exceeding 10 trn RMB for the first time, up by 5% y-o-y. China’s trade with ASEAN countries rose to 1.60 trn yuan, expanding 6.4 %, accounting for 15% of China's foreign trade.

Visited the ASEAN Regional Mine Action Center and Peace Musuem of Mine Action during my visit to Cambodia. Saddened by the lost of lives and injury due to mine and explosive war remnant. China will continue to contribute to realizing a Mine Free ASEAN.
