0-2 in the open with Esper mediums. Had a Gitrog and a Rakdos in the board but saw 0 fixing for them aside from my pylons. Probs would have jammed Rakdos on 2 mountains if I had another UB dual.

A quick injection of Thunder Junction thoughts that I typed up in the LLU discord

I’m often in the draft good creatures > good removal spell camp, and while that hasn’t totally changed, the needle has moved towards removal for me in OTJ

Most games involve a must answer creature or a synergy you’ll want to break up. I’m aiming for about 5-6 removal spells

Took a second to nab my first trophy for the format, but was with a sweet one! Bandit's Haul really pulled it's weight here. The hard to read card is Fractured Identity.

3-0 at prerelease with a pile of good GB cards + splashing 2 Lassoed by the Laws!

Dance of the tumbleweeds and Ambush gigapede were both a bit better than expected.

I’ve been on “the apps” for the first time in my life for the past two weeks and in some ways it reminds me what what it was like to be a new Magic player (as in, it’s fun, but this shit’s hard lmao)
