Thank you ELAN for a fantastic conference! It was amazing to take in the brilliance of John Warner, Rebekah OβDell, Anne-Marie Longpre, Aimee Lajeunesse, Casey Hackett, & many others!
I'm looking forward to implementing many new ideas during the upcoming year! #ELANanticipates
Big thank you to Ontario Tech University Sustainability Planner Isabel Savransky for hosting NorthernDancerPS's grade 7s for a walking tour of the campus. It was great to see real-world and community-based examples of the #sustainability initiatives we've been exploring in class! πβ»οΈπ±
Grade 7 students at NorthernDancerPS created an exhibit of artifacts provided through the Museum of History History Box program. They worked to understand historical significance & then prepared the exhibit for junior students. Thanks to the π¨π¦ Museum of History for the opportunity!
Big thanks to Archives of Ontario for helping grade 8 students at NorthernDancerPS understand how to think like historians when investigating primary source records. We learned a lot! What do you think these images tell us about the history of Ontario? #historicalthinkingconcepts
Well said! NorthernDancerPS has some of the most phenomenal EAs I've ever had the pleasure to work with. They make such a difference in the success of our students β socially, emotionally and academically. Thank you, thank you, thank you! πππ
Yesterday I shared my #ReportCardTip of using #GoogleSheets to write Learning Skills Comments in a simple Sheet template that counts your 2000 precious characters.
Pamela Wisniewski remixed and shared the Sheet for the #FDK Four Frames. Link below β¬οΈ!
Here's a #ReportCardTip that saves me frustration:
I write comments in #GoogleSheets with a formula that counts down to the character limit.
I made a copy to share. Just right-click and duplicate the 'Template' tab (bottom left) as many times as needed:

I agree with this tweet! β¬οΈ Mathematical Modelling was not what I thought it was & the Intermediate webinar was an excellent hour of let's-get-down-to-it PD with zero fluff that cleared up my understanding.
Lots of webinar recordings are already posted: ontariomath.support/?pg=webinars&lβ¦
