A woman who exaggerated the injuries sustained in a road traffic collision and tried to make a fraudulent civil injury claim worth £492,141 has been sentenced, after she was caught out by evidence including footage from The Jeremy Kyle Show.

Three people were arrested in north west London yesterday on suspicion of conspiracy to commit fraud. Officers suspect that they claimed on health insurance for fictitious dental work.

A ghost broker has been sentenced to 20 months imprisonment, suspended for 18 months, for selling fraudulent motor insurance policies.👻

Mohsin Yousaf, 26, of Longshaw Drive, Chingford, must also complete a 15 day rehabilitation activity requirement and 240 hours of unpaid work.

A 43-year-old man, who officers suspect made over 100 fraudulent claims on insurance for lost phones, was arrested at Heathrow Airport on Thursday evening. 👮🚨

Around 30 phones found in his possession were seized.

He has since been released on bail.
