COMMUNITY MEETINGS TOMORROW: The City of Rockford Engineering Division and Engineering Consultant HR Green will be hosting community meetings to review its draft Stormwater Master Plan and ask for input and feedback from its residents.

MEMORIAL DAY: Garbage collection for City of Rockford residents on Monday, May 27, as well as the balance of the week, will be delayed one day due to the Memorial Day holiday. City Hall will also be closed.

ROUNDABOUT UPDATE: Starting the week of June 3, with the support of Illinois Department of Transportation, we will begin a pilot program to reduce the roundabout at Main and Auburn streets to one lane.

STATE OF THE CITY: Mayor McNamara will provide the annual State of the City Address during City Council on Monday, May 20, at 5:30 p.m. Residents can watch the address online at rockfordil.gov. There will also be limited availability for in-person attendance.
