Making aviation fuel out of waste is NOT sustainable or efficient.
- Most wastes, such as used cooking oil, already have other uses
- It includes waste from unsustainable industry such as plastics
- Because we’re committed to cutting waste, it can’t be sustainably scaled up. 4/9

Spoiler: no, it isn't.

This whole e-fuels for cars thing that centre-right parties are flirting with on the continent reminds me of the UK fracking debate.

We can argue and legislate about it all we want but the simple fact is that e-fuels for cars (and fracking) will fail because of simple economics.

'It just cannot be right that care workers on their rounds pay more fuel tax than billionaires in their private jets.'
