The Living Well Locally project in Dalry looks really promising. It brings some much-needed investment to the area and will help people walk, wheel and cycle. Like any other big project, it will need residents to give their views, so that it serves their needs. Please comment…

This risks undermining the Scottish Parliament's hard won reputation for inclusivity.

It sends the wrong message to Parliament staff and visitors, and particularly to members of the LGBTQIA+ community and other marginalised groups.

The decision must be reconsidered. 🏳️‍🌈

An awful and likely untenable decision that is a slap in the face for the LGBT+ community. Excellent response from Maggie Chapman MSP for Scottish Greens. I will be seeking confirmation that Council staff can wear Rainbow and other lanyards and badges supporting good causes…

Important context. Without Green leadership, this would not have happened. The default Council position was not to have a Firework Control Zone, but this was overturned by a Green amendment.

The Tories destroyed social housing in the 1980s and 1990s with the Right to Buy, selling off millions of social homes. Today they are posing as champions of social tenants.

My ward colleague Ross McKenzie at Full Council raised the failure to progress a Safe Drug Consumption Facility in Edinburgh. I seconded his motion, highlighting that such a facility is vital to a public health approach to drugs

At Full Council, I challenged the Council Leader on investments made by the Council that officers can't guarantee are not finding their way into fossil fuel projects. In a climate emergency, this is not acceptable
