They can and should be bought out at a price reflective of their trivial financial interest. Currently, the valuation methodologies massively overstate their interest.

Subsequent traffic volumes along Newland have rendered the work somewhat redundant - it’s far too busy now. Definitely needs more work to increase active travel use and deter driving.

@CllrFareham Leo Gibbons Probably a lower architectural bar since Hull was the second most bombed city in the UK during WW2. The beautiful Hammonds store my grandfather worked at was bombed to smithereens (thankfully sparing Paragon Station) and replaced with something less pretty.
