The MRS degree is still very much a thing

Yes, you should pick your major (and your college!) wisely, but education and work can both be extremely conducive to family life when done correctly

'Many women meet their future husbands in college'
'So the only reason for women to go to college is to get married?'

It has to do with not wanting to feel like the bad guy for not liking someone.

'I don't like him' is active
'He gave me the ick' is passive

Women feel bad rejecting guys so they make it seem like it's his fault rather than that they don't like him/aren't emotionally available

The idea that women are spending college being promiscuous just feels like one of those things you only believe if your idea of women is formed by pornography and twitter

Most of the girls I knew spent time on club fundraising, flashcards for organic chemistry, and dorm decor

I get accused a lot of living in a bubble.

The real hack is we can all live in a bubble, date and marry people in that bubble, make that bubble's purpose loving God and our neighbor, and evangelize others into the bubble.

And maybe even gather on Sundays idk sounds fun.

A woman’s highest calling is not to be a wife and mother.

While those are good, God-designed roles, they weren’t ever meant to be a woman’s highest or truest calling.

The Great Commission and the Great Commandment are a woman (and man's) highest calling.

Women don’t like to think of ourselves as “emotionally unavailable” because that’s something we usually use to describe noncommittal men.

In women though, it tends to look more like being excessively picky, waiting for “the spark,” or constantly getting “the ick” for no reason.

Speaking just from experience and not data, there are far more women who want to be SAHMs than men who want their wives to be SAHMs and who can afford for that to happen comfortably.

The “fertility window” argument for women not going to college has never made any sense to me.

You’re done by 21 and it’s a great place to have met a husband. If anything, college finishes perfectly in time to start a family.

“The ick” is a fake term for blaming your emotional unavailability on the other person and this is proof

“I don’t think you need your forever job, fat savings or a house you own before you get married, you can work towards those things together”

“So you’re saying you should marry someone YOU BARELY KNOW and overlook IMPORTANT CHARACTERISTICS???”

U guys are genuinely so obnoxious

This dichotomy is so silly because these are two different walls in the same home.

Your career can and should be in service of your family. And even if you never work, those degrees can and should make you a better financial safety net, homeschool teacher, and support to your

What shocks me about passport bros isn’t so much that they do this, but that they brag about doing it and make it their “identity.”

At best, you look like the lowest rung of Western male who cannot “handle” the women here, so you leave.

At worst, you look like a human

I’m so grateful I had older women who were honest with me about my career path when I was younger.

One in particular told me NOT to pursue her career if I wanted children, and to pick something more work from home friendly.

I’m so glad she didn’t pull any punches.
