The first noticeable thing is that Amari Williams is really tall. He and Mark Pope are both listed at 6-10. Williams looks taller, at least 6-11.

I’m not claiming to know any more than anybody else. I don’t. But as the staff gets settled the commitments will start to come. I think it’s guess work on who they are because there are so many to pick from in the portal. But I think that was Pope’s plan all along.

Jason Hart equals good hire. Coached guys like Buzelis, Scoot Henderson, & Holland in the G-League which is now defunct. He also coached over a half-dozen NBA players at USC. Mark Pope & Hart played together for the Bucks in 2000-01.

Aly Khalifa is by no means a game changer. Kentucky fans just need some good news. Announcing for Louisville within an hour of Reed Sheppard’s decision makes it more of a double shot. Patience is a virtue, but you can understand UK fans being short of it today.
