The bill to amend Oregon’s #NIL law has been signed into law, and is effective immediately.

It allows deals to be contingent on attendance, allows schools to facilitate/enable/support NIL opportunities, and prohibits the NCAA from penalizing schools for items allowed by the law.

Oklahoma’s AD said college athletics finds itself dealing with the current environment because of a lack of forward thinking.

Completely agree.

The question is will that change?

Also, Ok St’s AD said he’s in favor of NIL moving in-house (i.e. schools directly paying athletes).

Getting tired of refs making emphatic 50/50 charge/block calls like they have clarity we don't because of divine intervention or something.

Victoria is right.

People have been telling college athletics leaders for years that new models are needed to address coming legal issues.

But the only action that’s been taken is lobbying to change the law.

Time for real work on new models.
