Yesterday we met with the Windsor Framework committee in the Northern Ireland Assembly, continuing our work on the WF and developing a new working relationship with a key partner.

Yesterday's session on the upcoming EU Entry/Exit System reinforced the urgent need for the Government to answer our questions on EES. They're yet to reply to our invitation to Tom Pursglove MP, the Minister for Legal Migration and the Border, to give evidence.
At yesterday’s session, @DavidJones asked Nichola Mallon about lettuces wilting in lorries stuck in Kent after EES comes online. She spoke about the potential negative impact of EES on businesses and communities in Kent.

Today, Visit Kent, ashfordcouncil & Kent County Council were unequivocal when asked if the Government was doing enough to prepare them for the 'big as Brexit' introduction of the EU's Entry/Exit System.
They warned consequences are:
⭕️ 14+ hour delays
⭕️ 50% drop in attraction takings
