Although we're still mostly out of the game, we're pleased to announce a new team of Critical Role data archivists: Omen Archive!
New Blood, Old Regards: critrolestats.com/blog/2024/4/11…
Thank you so much for joining us, tonight and every night! We love you very much, take care of yourselves, and... Well, you know. 😉 #CriticalRoleSpoilers
The mission will continue next year. Welcome to the site of the Malleus Key, and the road to the Ruidus. #CriticalRoleSpoilers
Matt sets out the map of the initial foray into site itself, just to get to the gate. And waiting out there is a massive automaton. Like the one they hid inside the first time they went inside. #CriticalRoleSpoilers
The party takes in the covered assault, and sneak toward the site.
And that is where we end the episode! Though Matt can show them a visible perspective of what they can expect next year... #CriticalRoleSpoilers
The party take in the illusion of Ember Rocs attacking the reiloran and skirmisher assault. The mages are aiding the illusions with spells, fire and explosions. A beast falls, blood exploding out. #CriticalRoleSpoilers
Skrimishers drive out from the sides of the site, dozens pouring out. Many of the more assault-based tripods emerge. Dozens of reiloran warriors, juggernauts, and others charge behind them. More fly behind. #CriticalRoleSpoilers
31. 35. 27. 31. 25. 25. Nat20 for 37.
The party is pretty well set on their stealth checks. #CriticalRoleSpoilers
The cracks of thunder grow more and more successive. Horns sound more and more from inside the site. The group has advantage and PWaT on the stealth check in. The guards are also very perceptive. #CriticalRoleSpoilers
Fearne and Orym took note of the landmarks before the storm. With the clouds around them, Fearne knows exactly where to go. The party covers their mouths as they push forward. #CriticalRoleSpoilers
The party enters the heavy winds. They mark their direction, lead by Orym to keep point. Orym directs Fearne, who rolls Survival with Guidance: 29. #CriticalRoleSpoilers
Keyleth warns that the Wind Walk form takes too long to transform between forms. It can't be used to get on the bridge, but for the next 8 hours, it might still prove useful on Ruidus. #CriticalRoleSpoilers
FCG hits Imogen with Death Ward. The party dons their Ruby Vanguard robes that they were given. Imogen can cover more of them with invisibility, but not all of them. #CriticalRoleSpoilers
Guards outside the site begin to double. The whole site is at attention, ready to respond to the dust clouds. Keyleth is growing nervous, sweat beading on her forehead. 'All right. Let me know when you're ready.' #CriticalRoleSpoilers
The party pulls out Vanguard attire as Keyleth works, her eyes glowing with golden energy. Every shift of her wrist summons a thicker cloud that strikes cliff sides with lightning. #CriticalRoleSpoilers
The clouds grow thick and dark as Keyleth casts. Flashes of lightning, the entire skyline filled with a hurricane of a thunderstorm, no raindrops, but heavy roaring dust around the site. #CriticalRoleSpoilers
The party flies down near the site, resting to cover behind skeletal trees. Keyleth looks back to the bridge, and sighs. She holds her staff: the party has a few minutes to be on their way. #CriticalRoleSpoilers
The illusion shows a dust cloud giving way to four-armed armored gorillas, armored rhinos, dozens of ember rocs fly about. A dominating presence to disguise the wagons filled with blood. #CriticalRoleSpoilers
