Seriously contemplating going to a kp0p concert here in Edmonton even if I don’t know a durned thing abt the grp, but bc they’re from the same company as my fav K-rock band and I want RBW to know there’s demand in Canada.

Logic is sound right?

As well as those of us who made the real effort to understand what is going on and how we can best be supportive of BTS and ARMY fandom.

A lot of K-pop fandoms are incapable of surviving long-term because they never fostered the culture necessary to do so.

It can be easy to forget that ARMY is pretty much out here by ourselves in terms of attempting to keep fans across the world on the same page and we owe a lot to translators and k-fans who genuinely worked to keep foreign ARMYs up to speed.

This is why we continuously have people trying to tear us away from BTS to support random ass groups. They know what we're capable of.

The toxic approach to this comes from both looking down on us and feeling entitled to us.

I feel that one of the main reasons that K-pop fans hate ARMY so much is that we represent so much of what they don't have: a genuine cross-culture community that is filled with capable fans that emotionally *and* financially uplifted our faves.
