I agree with Attorney General Josh Kaul. There is a reason for the 25th Amendment, and that threshold has most certainly been met today.

We need to have a 72 county strategy to address shared revenue. I’ll build a coalition with other counties in WI to increase pressure on the legislature for local control policies. What’s good for Milwaukee County is good for all counties.

Congratulations to San Francisco District Attorney-elect Chesa Boudin on a hard-fought and well-deserved win for prosecutorial reform. I look forward to working with DA Boudin and reformers across the US to forge a justice system defined by fairness, equity, and proportionality.

Folks deserve a second chance in Wisconsin. I was happy to issue pardons today, the first pardons issued since 2010, to 4 well-deserving individuals. These pardons serve as fresh start to move forward, not only for these folks, but for our state.
