NHS focus on access is only about numbers not about quality

NHS England is failing patient care as they continue to look at the wrong things & not LISTENING to GPs

The question was do areas of deprivation have more access to care with ARRS

The answer is no & continued poor access to GPs

NHS England only focus on access statistics, which fail to address inequalities, & fail to look at access to GPs

My sister is a pharmacist working in a GP surgery & was asked to sit in with different HCPs

She sat in with a PA

Almost every patient referred to the PA as “doctor” & she didn’t correct them once!

I’ve told her to feed this back to the surgery ASAP

PAs must NEVER deceive…

GMC removed DOCTOR from ‘Good Medical Practice’

NOT GOOD medical practice this is poor & this is a failure at the highest level
UK needed GOOD DOCTORS now not so much, complicit GMC, Govt, NHS leaders & MPs

Is it any wonder when they & NHSE have reduced GP Practice funding by 20% £/patient since 2016, only funded additional roles at expense of GPs

There is no ‘backstory’ to ending of 2/care NHS Practitioner Health other than (we’re told) - no budget. To remind, it was established following suicide of a psychiatry who also killed her baby and highlighted the barriers doctors have in accessing mental health care.
