Were the 729 teams who compete in the FA Cup given any say in this decision at all?
Or was it just the big-mouthed, big club managers with 40+ players on their books, who play less games than the other 99% teams with half their squads, who are catered for?

Next bit of ‘magic of the FA Cup’ will be seedlings to all but guarantee them an attractive final for the fans who really matter. Which of course is those on the other side of the world to where it will be played.
