New Social Biobehavioural Research Group paper BrainBehavImm. #loneliness is risk for increasing chronic inflammation. Social engagement maybe protective. Isolation less consistent. Stronger results in those w/ genetic MDD risk. Shown in two cohorts, venous & dried blood samples.
