HUD announces $22.8M to help people experiencing homelessness in Dallas. City of Dallas & its partners have demonstrated its ability to deploy successful initiatives to reduce homelessness & this reinforces investments & priorities undertaken are aligned Housing-First principles.

City of Dallas facilities will reopen to the public Friday, Feb. 3. Check DallasCityNews.net for service updates.

For recycling and garbage collections: Notifications will also be sent to customers enrolled to receive service advisories from Sanitation. Residents may leave uncollected roll carts at their designated collection location until further notice.

Wednesday recycle and garbage collections have been cancelled due to poor weather and street conditions. Further updates will be posted on the Sanitation Website at dallas.gov/sanitation and on NextDoor.

Please note the Dallas City Council meeting and all City-sponsored events are canceled and all City of Dallas facilities will be closed to the public Wednesday, Feb. 1.
