This is absolutely unacceptable USC but a constant reminder of how deep Islamophobia runs in academia. You are disposable and not worthy of protection. From students, faculty and workers, anti-Palestinian racism and Islamophobia runs rampant.

The House FISA bill as it stands would turn ordinary businesses into NSA spies. This will mean a MASSIVE expansion of the surveillance state.

The video the NYPD posted to claim I lied about my hijab is not footage of the arrest, which was violent and humiliating.

I was cuffed and yanked off of the ground with my hijab off and wasn’t allowed to fix it before being forced up. Multiple male officers put hands on me.

The problem with advocating for more surveillance or security powers, or police state powers, or whatever you want to call them, is that what happens when another administration comes along, those same powers you were advocating for now could come back and bite you in the butt.

Wow. The disregard for Americans' civil liberties in this reply is staggering. This provision allows the NSA to force a huge range of ordinary U.S. businesses to assist the NSA in Section 702 surveillance. That's not 'nonsense,' that's a fact. And this is your response??
