The janitors protest march is now on its way through downtown Oakland. They say they’re going to walk by some large office buildings where some of their members work.

Cinthya Munoz Ramos, Oakland Council President Nikki Fortunato Bas’ chief of staff, delivered a message in support of the janitors marching in downtown Oakland today.

Keith Brown, secretary treasurer of the Alameda Labor Council, says the labor coalition fully supports the janitors.
