Very pleased to have been working with Trust for London on series of pieces about organisations they help fund. This one concerns a Z2K (Zacchaeus 2000 Trust) 'peer researcher' project with & about people in temporary accommodation: onlondon.co.uk/z2k-helping-we… #housinh #LondonElections2024 .
NEW. Charles Wright on detail of #susanhall election manifesto: onlondon.co.uk/susan-hall-con…… #LondonElections2024 #LondonMayor
Time to start re-plugging some of OnLondon's copious in-depth coverage of #LondonElections2024 candidates and issues. Here's a little something from January: onlondon.co.uk/susan-hall-say… #ULEZ #susanhall
With under a week till polling day in the London mayoral election, the dividing lines between Sadiq Khan and Susan Hall AM become clearer. My OnLondon report on yesterday's BBC London debate onlondon.co.uk/london-mayor-2…
Another #LondonMayor poll, this time by Survation. (for Greenpeace). It gives #Sadiqkhan a 17-point lead over #susanhall . Previous Survation poll (early April for ITV London) had him 18 ahead: standard.co.uk/news/london/su….
Here's the latest poll. SK's 13 point lead in this one is his joint smallest so far, same as Redfield & Wilton Strategies found a fortnight ago: standard.co.uk/news/politics/…. My November prediction - well, guess - that he'll win by 8 points in danger of looking clever. #LondonElections2024 .
The good news for me and the Institute for Government
is that our event next Tuesday about #London and #devolution is fully booked. The good news for you is that if you haven't signed up to be there in person you can register to watch online: instituteforgovernment.org.uk/event/london-n…
The London Citizens accountability assembly is traditionally one of the great set piece events of London Mayor election campaigns. But #susanhall has opted out of this year's, meaning it will now have to be a closed function with no media allowed in. #LondonElections2024 .
NEW from Richard Brown (RichardBrown). London's night time hospitality sector faces a range of problems. Would it help if the city's Mayors - whoever they may be - had greater powers to address them? onlondon.co.uk/richard-brown-… #LondonElections2024
Just back from London Society Banister Fletcher lecture, given this year by Indy Johar at Royal Institute of British Architects HQ. Lots and lots of very deep food for thought about the capital's near future. Better ask him to write something for OnLondon.
To keep you going, this by Jack Brown of
King's College London, explains why #Sadiqkhan will probably win on 2 May but maybe not by all that much: onlondon.co.uk/jack-brown-don…. #LondonElections2024
Excellent #LondonElections2024 pieces coming up soon from Charles Wright and RichardBrown on housing and nightlife respectively. One or both will appear at OnLondon tonight, after I've returned from a glamorous trip into the West End.
