Builder of walls within walls. Never fails to disappoint, never fails to be disappointed. Outwardly jolly, inwardly dark and uninteresting. And invisible.

Santa always brings me something special at Christmas, usually a medical event for myself or what remains of my ever-diminishing family. This year it is my turn again. Mallet finger. Sounds trivial but, as a guitarist, 8 weeks in a bloody splint is utterly soul destroying. Bah!

So, that's it. The Boar's Head is finally put back in it's box, The Liabilities have bid each other a seasonal farewell for another year and wandered off into the night. Time for new music, new arrangements, new tracks and new recordings.

As someone who dreads Christmas I was less than over-the-moon to win this in the raffle at Riverside Folk Club in Monday where we, The Liabilities, played a few dirges. However, it reminded me just what a great voice Sir Harry possessed. Right, back behind the wall of silence.

Ah well, Twitter, or 'X', whatever, becomes like real life where I also manage to piss everybody off. Hey, ho. Time to go.

Un f*cking believable!
Greg Hands on ITV was just was asked about Sunak being called 'Doctor Death'' because of his Eat Out To Help Spread Covid scheme. He replied was that ‘most people would say that the U.K. had a good pandemic’. Let's all just let that sink in for a minute.

For some reason (possibly because we vehemently oppose NHS privatisation) EveryDoctor rarely gets a mention when PPE is discussed by the mainstream media.

We are the doctors who took this government to court along with Good Law Project+ proved the existence of the VIP PPE lane.

Shocked to have just been messaged that as I write, the London regional party at is sponsored by a Buy Now Pay Later firm. And the founder was given platform to speak against regulation.

Have these firms bought influence with every UK polical party?…

This story was uncovered by richard brooks in this week's Private Eye, I've since verified it, and it is scandalous.

The taxpayer is paying a mysterious fee to Teesworks Ltd for work apparently completely unrelated to the latter.

“The Government has announced that Manchester's Metrolink will be extended to the city's airport” after scrapping HS2 northern leg.

“However there's one small issue - this already happened back in 2014.”

Calling everyone who doesn't live in Wales.

We do NOT have a 'blanket' 20 mph law in Cymru!

Do not let people lie to you.

Many roads still use the same limits as always.

We live in a small village. The road through is 60 mph. We'd love 30, but we can't even have that!

Good to see Tory policies move beyond promising 40 imaginary hospitals staffed by 50,000 imaginary nurses and start railing against imaginary 20 mph speed limits

Spot the difference:
Last year 282 people were killed by someone using a knife. So, politicians speak about ‘a war on knife crime’.
Last year, 376 pedestrians were killed after being hit by a car. Sunak has just announced that he’s ending the ‘war on motorists’.
