On 2024-04-11 I observed a fairly close (6.7 Mpc) supernova SN 2024ggi in NGC 3621 remotely at iTelescope.Net in Australia: photographed while its brightness was increasing. It was 16.2 V.

From tonight Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks is at its closest to Jupiter. Tricky to observe/photograph low on the western horizon.
