Today I have been speaking with counterparts in Lebanon and United Arab Emirates.

I reiterated the UK’s condemnation of Iran’s attack, as well as the urgent need to work with partners in the region to de-escalate tensions.

It's one year since the senseless conflict started in Sudan. We've almost doubled our aid. But as famine approaches, a ceasefire remains the only way to end the crisis.

Anyone supporting those responsible for the atrocities must be held to account. The fighting must end now.
