Humza Yousaf obv has a very strong conception of himself as an outsider from an underdog background.
In fact he went to one of the top private schools in Scotland and as such was part of the usual privileged cadre.

Genuine legal question: Why is Ireland able to change the law and designate the UK as a safe third country, and just boot migrants back over the border, but we can't do the exact same with France?

So Ireland sending illegal migrants to the UK is seen as possible and reasonable but the UK sending illegal migrants back to France is seen as cruel and unfeasible. 🥴
