Remembering Darcus Howe, anti-racist campaigner, editor of Race Today, and one of the Mangrove Nine, who passed away 7 years ago today. Rest in power.

Trying to present the latter trend as more reflective of Caribbean culture than the former is, at best, impressively sloppy at worst blatantly fraudulent.

In closing: If marriage rates/educational performance in the actual nations of the Caribbean have steadily increased over the last 2/3 generations but have gone backwards among English people of Caribbean origin (reflecting a general trend in England) then…
