Today, our officers paid their respects to DeKalb County Sheriff’s Deputy Christina Musil as her family, colleagues, loved ones, laid her to rest. Deputy Musil made the ultimate sacrifice serving her community. Our hearts are heavy, but we will take it from here sister 🖤💙🖤

DPD’s extra DUI enforcement from March 8-18, 2024 during the St. Patrick’s Day weekend celebration has concluded. The extra DUI enforcement resulted in 25 traffic stops, 11 citations & 1 traffic arrest. DPD would like to remind the motoring public to #DriveSoberOrGetPulledOver

The northbound Lake Cook exit ramp at I-294 will be shut down until further notice. Illinois State Police are investigating a truck fire. Please use alternate routes at this time.

Between February 9-12, 2024, Deerfield Police Officers conducted extra traffic enforcement in conjunction with the Super Bowl, resulting in 18 traffic stops and 13 tickets. Deerfield PD would like to remind the motoring public to always #BuckleUpAndDrive and #ClickItOrTicket
