Following our February engagements with fellow NEP leaders, we yesterday met with Hon Ndindi Nyoro, Chair of the Parliamentary Budget and Appropriations committee in furtherance of our advocacy for more funds to improve Garissa University, and he assured us of his support.

Glad to report that we have completed the rehabilitation of affected facilities in Korkora Primary school blown off by a windstorm a fortnight ago.

We are all very proud of Dr Rukia’s ceiling breaking accomplishments. Her incredible advancement is inspiring and demonstrates what resilience and determination can do, against all odds.

May Allah make her knowledge and efforts a beneficial one for the ummah.

Improving access within our town after the floods is critical and we call upon our urban residents to play their part in making the roads clean and free of solid wastes.
