Matthew B Jané Your post, and the linked McPhetres & Pennycook and the Funder & Ozer paper on people underestimating effect sizes inspired me to take 'effect size benchmarks' that Funder & Ozer shared and plot them in a Likert group difference context to show how unimpressive they might look

I've been putting together a book on modeling that I hope will appeal to a wide range of audiences, with examples in Python/R.

You can check out the in-progress work at: m-clark.github.io/book-of-models/. Hope you find it useful, and feedback is appreciated as we continue to work on it!

In 2014, when a brain tumor put me in the ICU for a couple of wks & brain surgery put me out of work for 4mons, I afforded that incident ONLY because of the generosity of VA colleagues that donated their sick/vacation time to me. Otherwise, I would’ve been SOL.

Over next 2mons, I'd like to clean up + expand options in PyReliMRI. For example, I am thinking of including event locked BOLD ROI timeseries plots &/or connectivity matrix ICCs. All calculated based on paths points to files.
Any thoughts/preferences?
