Robert Gros made £27m selling useless gowns via the VIP PPE Lane, of course he never paid back a penny, he bought 2 mansions instead.

RT and see if we can make him as famous as Michelle Mone.

Yet another Network Rail plan to decimate a valuable wildlife green corridor. NR has very little accountability or oversight, so local resistance is important: do support the tree protectors & attend the meetings to object to this destruction if you can.

A major critic of Natural England has quietly been appointed to Natural England's board by Ministers.

Landowner Mark Tufnell, ex-President of the Country Land & Business Association, called for 'a full scale review of NE's remit'.

How landed power works.

The Chris Gibb 'alternative ' plan proposes just two new 400 metre platforms at Euston, meaning most HS2 trains would be using existing platforms there.

Given the height differential between HS2 and CRN platforms in the last known design concept, how is that possible?

One of the oddest features of the scheme is that moving large numbers of empty seats is classed as a benefit (crowding) and monetised as such in the economic case.

This is HS2

This is supposed to be a tunnel, that protects building materials sent to the frontline

I have watched these (almost continuous) gaps for months and just assumed the gaps will be closed before use

Nope. It's in use today, and it's already been raining

Michael C The only logical explanation (yes I’m going with logical if it still exists) is the whole “via airport” thing is just a Trojan horse to ensure HS2 can get to Manchester.

However if that were the case it’s a risky move. If Labour won’t commit the line won’t be built for BCR.

This is risky. Very risky.

Using a botched NPR as a Trojan Horse to get to .

If HS2 isn’t brought back, this will be an incredible waste of £billions to deliver nothing more than an airport link.

You can then forget solving Castlefield.
